The AUB Library is the heart of institute, where each reader is considered unique and important. It plays the most important role in the growth and development of its students.

Highlights

  • More than 1500 books and various Journals are available in print.
  • Online library access to more than 60,000 titles consisting of books and journals.
  • AUB has extended its digital/nonprint titles via Proquest database which allows access to approximately 15,000 e-books and medical journals. ProQuest’s collections span six centuries and cover all disciplines. Its diverse contents provide the world’s largest collection of dissertations and thesis. It also provides access to three centuries of newspapers, e-books, scholarly journals, data and unique digital vaults so that all the requirements of the scholars and researchers can be met.
  • The students can also access the question bank USMLE World which allows them to practice multiple choice questions prior to taking licensing examinations. These services are also available to faculty with the addition of the question bank, Qbank.
  • Students undergoing clinical clerkships have full access to all the libraries of its affiliated hospital. They can also access databases, Medline and First Search and can also obtain copies of print and nonprint titles via the interlibrary loan system, Docline.
  • Recorded lectures spanning the entire Medical curriculum, bed-side clinical demonstrations and tutorials are also available in e-library.
  • Customize integrated animated lectures are available at the portal of AUB.
  • The Library also has a computer lab having adequate number of desktops with internet connection and free Wi-Fi. The students and faculty can access our website (www.elmcindialibrary.org) 24x7.
  • AUB utilizes an intranet that is protected via the Cyberoam Firewall 300 ING security system that affords secure, campus wide internet access.
  • Library remains open Monday to Friday from 9 am to midnight and on Sunday from 10 am to 10 pm.
